We are on are way! Perhaps handicapped by nothing to rush to leave for (there is no tide and it doesn't get dark) - it has taken most of a day to slip.
Provisioning the boat became a fairly dynamic affair when we realised some items are disproportionately more expensive than others! Chicken was substituted for reindeer (sweet and sour reindeer may become an acquired taste!), gin costs the same as a dozen sausages (but is rationed at 2 bottles per head/month) and any plans to use red peppers were abandoned when we saw they were £8 a go!
Fueled up by a salmon Thai green curry made by Gabi and Adam - we start an overnight* passage to Ny Ålesund...
